Rated Capacity Limiter (RCL): CCS rated capacity indicator with graphic display for actual and admissible
load, radius, telescoping and other working conditions. Including readout of load charts.
OPERATORS CAB: Full vision aluminum cab, hydraulically tiltable to 20°, mounted on the left side of the
turntable, safety glass throughout, hinged front window with wiper, sliding door with window, sun visor and
window shade, dormer window pane with wiper, engine independent air heater, fan and defroster nozzles,
adjustable deluxe seat, headrest and armrest, extendable cab foot walk mounted dual axis crane control
joysticks, full instrumentation panel with CCS crane engine controls. Two spotlights.
SWING: 360° continuous rotation, 3 slewing gears with axial piston motors, planetary reduction gear, service
and holding brake. Infinitely variable speed 0-1.3 rpm.
COUNTERWEIGHT: 80 tonnes total, consisting of 11 sections weighing pprox..: 7 tonnes (base plate) 2 x 4,75
tonnes, 1 x 4,5t, 2 x 9,5 tonnes, 1 x 10t (top plate) 2 x 10t side slabs and 2 x 5t side slabs. Hydraulic
counterweight rigging and removal system operated from the crane cab.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: Two separate circuits, one axial piston variable displacement pumps with electronic
power limiting control and one axial piston variable displacement pump for slewing. Oil cooler and service
pressure points. Tank capacity 890 litres.
MAIN HOIST: Axial piston motor with planetary reduction gear and automatic multiple disc brake. Drum
rotation indicator. Camera system for hoist.
WIRE ROPE: 300m of 22mm diameter for main hoist with swaged end rope socket.
SAFETY SYSTEMS: Hoist and lowering limit switches, check valves on load bearing cylinders, pressure relief
valves, wind speed indicator and electronic levelling device.

OUTRIGGERS: Four two stage hydraulic telescoping beams with vertical cylinders and outrigger pads.
Independent horizontal and vertical operation. Controlled from each side of carrier and superstructure cab,
with electronic level indicator, Outrigger pad load indicator with read out on carrier and superstructure, front
jacks 600 mm, rear jacks 600 mm, working lights for each outrigger beam.
ENGINE: Mercedes Benz OM471LA, 390 kW turbo charged diesel engine with heavy duty air cleaner and safety
cartridge. Electronic engine control. Fuel tank: 650 l.
TRANSMISSION: Mercedes G280 with VIAB and integrated hydraulic retarder 16 speed forward plus 2 reverse.
1 speed transfer case.
SUSPENSION: Megatrak (all wheel independent hydropneumatic suspension), hydraulic lockout and
automatic levelling system.
BRAKES: Dual-line pneumatic disc brakes on all wheels, conforming to EC regulations. Pneumatically operated
spring-loaded emergency/parking brake on axles 2, 3, 4 and 5. Exhaust brake and constant throttle engine
brake.

LIGHTS: 24V system. Full lighting package (includes head, rear, brake, rear fog, reverse, hazard, directional
indicators and reflectors, day-time running light) conforming to EC regulations. Halogen spotlights and four
rotating beacons.
CAB: Composite designed aluminum and glass-fibre reinforced plastic, two-man left hand drive with fully
adjustable driver seat with pneumatic suspension and three-point seat belts. Safety glass windows, laminated
front windscreen with wipers and washers, engine dependent hot water heater with defroster, heated rear
view mirrors, tachograph, odometer, full warning instrumentation and travel controls. Stereo radio/CD player
with traffic information decoder. Fire extinguisher 6kg mounted inside the cabin. Air conditioning. Strobe light
on carrier cabin. 12V plug.
MISCELLANEOUS STANDARD EQUIPMENT: Access steps, maintenance tool kit, automatic interval controlled
central lubrication of struts and steering lever journals. Aluminum checker plate decking, wheel chocks.
